This week-...Meredith M.
www.theknittinghedonist.com
This week- I've been working on two projects- the Que Sera cardi from knitty and the Abrazo wrap from the new Twist. The Abrazo wrap marks a new technique for me- beaded lace knitting. YaY! I also got some gardening going. I haven't posted to my blog, so don't look there.
Thanks for doing the COB awards thing. Life got a little in the way of my craftiness this week, but I managed to squeeze in 2-3 hours each evening and one whole day Friday for the 'Russian Wheel'. It is finally done and will take up my dining room table for a few more days as the final coat of varnish dries. Soon it will be on it's long journey back across the pond to Russia and I can get the back burner projects in the running again:)LunabudKnitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11583521953411330219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-91286059468502289852010-04-18T18:27:22.542-04:002010-04-18T18:27:22.542-04:00I find this group inspiring too! ...Sarah

http://www.etsy.com/shop/Armillatadesigns

This week I survived an epic cross country drive, set up my future Mother-in-Law's online shop, and graciously bit my tongue when she copied and pasted my entire set of shop policies, and hefty other chunks of text, from my shop into hers. Flattery, right? When I got home, for some reason I felt really motivated to do some more hammer-intensive metal work, so I made up a huge supply of wireworked and hammered findings for future projects. Then, needed more hammer time, I went out and bought eyelets and a setter, and began experimenting with some ideas I had for making lace appliques into sturdy necklace components. Jury is still out on results, I really flattened those eyelets.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169563317653525741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-44503792788253449992010-04-18T13:47:16.711-04:002010-04-18T13:47:16.711-04:00Jessica

Details about both pairs of socks are at my blog.
Friday, we had light hang for the play I'm working on, so I was schlepping up and down ladders all evening getting ready for the play.
Saturday, I baked a carrot cake that came out more like a cake pile than an actual cake.
I also managed to destroy a $400 piece of lighting equipment because I was being careless.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11357384298685533739noreply@blogger.com
