I'll put a picture of it in this next week's roundup.Elabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01549005896555135431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-46998923855507560692010-02-11T10:14:14.888-05:002010-02-11T10:14:14.888-05:00Name: Vickie

Gotta get into the habit! I've been working on finishing up the little plaster shrines (not knitted!) here: Shrine-o-rama and starting a project for Art & Soul Vegas scroll to the bottom and finally I stumbled on a little project I really like; some funky beer cap pins at the bottom I'm finally getting into a groove of squeezing art time in at all kinds of odd moments. As long as I have something going I can run down to the studio and feel productive, but it is when I have to stop and think "what next?" I can get stuck.RideAndShinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11939091535903184614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-70121113887710248642010-02-10T10:59:16.994-05:002010-02-10T10:59:16.994-05:00Name: Jessica

I went on a yarn-venture and got yarn to make a hat for my friend Richard. I cast on said hat.
I made a banana cake last Friday evening.
And I started what is now a fairly epic game of six degrees of separation on my living room wall.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11357384298685533739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-50172173499516776462010-02-08T00:38:20.481-05:002010-02-08T00:38:20.481-05:00LunaTheFarmLady

Also some actual CSS code editing to the overall blog to steamline it and add a couple of new widgets. I will continue to work on this in the next week. Also still working on the WordPress Web Shop. And exploring some newly found graphic software to also put togethr a flyer and brochure for the shop opening.

I finished my patternless mitt and started crocheting squares for a baby blanket for a knitting buddy who had a little girl last week.

I gathered some old books and papers and other ephemera for a Valentine garland I will be making with friend Frannie this week.

I organized the non fiber craft supplies at the shop in the two big chests with 50 drawers with the help of my new apprentice spinner (Ya!) Amy who will be helping me in the shop.

I hit Ikea to pick up the cute storage and display cubbies for my yarn. Put together a huge yarn order but still haven't had the nerve to send it! Will do that when i get home from Ohio.

Earlier in the week I did some actual spinning as I worked more on the Valentine yarn while watching LOST.Blueball Mountain Spindle and Needle Workshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533409969216996586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-18880763262154201242010-02-08T00:07:09.460-05:002010-02-08T00:07:09.460-05:00I went and read about the RAK- count me in!I went and read about the RAK- count me in!Meredith Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05113499201075666799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-23440538968025376062010-02-07T22:48:26.023-05:002010-02-07T22:48:26.023-05:00Name: Sarah

And I learned many valuable lessons, through repetition, about how critical gloves and a vise are to metalworking, and how much it hurts to hit your fingers with a chasing hammer.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169563317653525741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25980322.post-67317519064740438262010-02-07T21:59:14.319-05:002010-02-07T21:59:14.319-05:00Name:Meredith C
